What is Reiki?

Reiki is a form of alternative medicine developed in Japan during the early 20th century. The practice involves the transfer of energy from practitioner to patient, which is believed to facilitate healing by restoring balance in the body’s energetic system. Reiki practitioners use a variety of techniques to induce relaxation and promote healing, including light touch, guided meditation and visualizations. Reiki is often recommended for those suffering from stress, anxiety and depression, as well as physical ailments like headaches and chronic pain. Reiki can also be used in conjunction with other forms of traditional medicine, such as medications and physical therapy. With its holistic approach to health and wellness, Reiki is becoming increasingly popular with those looking for an alternative path to healing. As with any treatment plan, it is important to discuss your options with a qualified healthcare professional before undergoing Reiki.

A qualified Reiki practitioner will be able to discuss the benefits and risks associated with this form of alternative medicine, along with any concerns you may have. With the help of a professional, you can develop a Reiki treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. With regular Reiki treatments, it is possible to experience improved physical and emotional wellbeing, as well as increased feelings of relaxation and peace. Reiki is a safe and non-invasive therapy that can be used to address a variety of physical, emotional and spiritual issues. If you’re looking for an alternative form of healing and wellness, Reiki is certainly worth considering.

With the guidance of a qualified practitioner, you can embark on your own journey towards improved health and wellbeing. Reiki can be an invaluable tool to help you find balance and harmony in your life. So, if you’re ready to explore the healing power of Reiki, contact a qualified Reiki practitioner today.

What do Reiki sessions look like?

During a typical Reiki session, the practitioner will contact the client’s energy field and transfer healing energy to help restore balance. The practitioner may also use light touch, guided meditation and/or visualizations to help the client relax and open up to the healing energy. Sessions usually last between 45 minutes to an hour and may be done either in person or remotely. Afterwards, the practitioner will provide feedback on the results of the session, and the client may also be asked to report their experiences.

“By breaking through these energetic blocks, the body’s inherent ability to heal itself is stimulated.” –Deepak Choprathe
